Gelato, in case you're not familiar with it, is ice cream, only different. And Italian. With less butterfat and usually less sugar, it's usually denser and richer in flavor than the ice cream most Americans are familiar with. Blown Away by Hurricane Flats

A stalwart vendor of the Norwich Farmer's Market, Hurricane Flats is there from start to finish offering a surprising variety of vegetables even at the start and end of the season. They grow an array of organic produce- melons, corn, tomatoes, mesclun greens, arugula, cucumbers, carrots, beets, potatoes and many more, along with popcorn and eggs. Hurricane Flats is a based in South Royalton, Vermont, and is owned and run by the family of Tom "Geo" Honigford and Sharon O'Connor. The farm's 37 acres is conserved by the Upper Valley Land Trust.
