Sample delicious local foods and celebrate spring at our 11th annual Flavors of the Valley, the greater Upper Valley’s premier tasting, informational, and buying event for locally grown foods.
Join us this Sunday, April 15, from 11am-3pm at Hartford High School in White River Junction, VT.
Event admission is $8 per person; children 6 and under get in free ($25/family maximum). To help reduce waste, attendees are encouraged to bring their own small plate, fork, and cup.
Over 50 farms, restaurants, grocers, and non-profit organizations will offer samples and sell a range of local products including meats and poultry, produce, sweets, dairy, and prepared foods.
Flavors is like a local foods party. There is great food, and you always meet new farmers and businesses, and run in to neighbors and friends. This year we'll have a special Valley Quest at the event, designed for kids.
You can also meet area chefs who feature local foods on their menus and learn about the increasing array of local foods carried by grocers. Vendors will offer an enticing selection of food samples––from pasture-raised meat to yogurt. You will be able to shop for locally raised meats, eggs, early spring vegetables, plant starts, yogurt, cheeses, jams, and jellies, or buy a share of vegetables for the season from a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) farm.
