Cormac McCarthy Performing at The Canoe Club from 7:00 to 10:00 This Saturday, Nov. 20

Cormac’s trek to Hanover from Southern Maine is a true treat for the Canoe Club. Rooted in rural New England since the age of ten, Cormac grew up in teetering towns. His “creative” existence in these hardscrabble towns inform his songs with a wistful wisdom. He sings the poetry of real life with a silky baritone voice and just enough grit – as well as a marvelously wicked sense of humor. He has been invited 3 times to the stage of the Newport Folk Festival, and twice on NPR’s "Mountain Stage" Live radio show.
