Salt hill Pub
Eat, Drink and Be ... Our Musical Accompaniment

There's a whole lot of foot-tapping and shakin' going on at Salt hill Pub locations this weekend.

Cormac McCarthy, the two-time Boston Music Award nominee and legendary acoustic folk singer-songwriter, performs Friday at Salt hill Pub at 7 Lebanon St., Hanover. As The Boston Phoenix put it, the "next time he comes within a hundred miles you must go hear him!" He's in the neighborhood, so come on over. The Spare Parts Bluegrass Hootenany is playing Salt hill in Hanover on Saturday night, with Joe Stallsmith creating his usual great show. And Junior Stevens and friends host the regular Sunday Live Irish Trad' session at 4 p.m. at Salt hill Hanover.

Frydaddy frontman Carlos O'Casio, with his soulful guitar and great stage presence, plays Salt hill Pub in Newport on Friday night, starting at 9 p.m.

The Amorphous Band, those funk warriors from the Seacoast, arrive at Salt hill in Lebanon on Friday night for another solid weekend lineup. Back from their tireless touring, the indy pop rock duo SIRSY performs Saturday night at the 2 West Park pub.
