My, What a Busy Weekend! Live Music This Weekend at Salt hill Pubs

With equal parts Indie Pop, Texas blues, R&B, New Orleans Funk,Beatles-inspired classic rock and a healthy measure of traditional Irish music, we’ve cooked up another fantastic weekend of live entertainment at Salt hill Pub in Lebanon, Newport, and Hanover, NH (May 14, 15, 16).

Friday, May 14th, Albany indie-pop duo SIRSY is back by popular demand at Salt hill Pub in Lebanon, while Salt hill Pub in Newport features THE MOORES, a Beatles-inspired classic & modern rock band with a very strong local following. Finally, Salt hill Pub in Hanover features the debut of BALDILOCKS, a super-tight blues trio featuring former members of the very popular 90’s band The Reactors.

On Saturday, May 15th, one of the hardest working R&B and soul bands in New Hampshire, THE SQUIDS, take the stage at Salt hill Pub in Lebanon. In Hanover, GROOVE FUNKTION returns! This high-energy funk band is fronted by none other than Hanover’s own groovesmith Coleman Bartels.

Finally, check out Salt hill Pub in Hanover every Sunday at 4pm for Live Irish Trad’ Sessions, featuring Junior Stevens & Friends. This is a very talented, ever-changing lineup of traditional musicians who play rollicking, stomping jigs and reels that’ll keep your feet tapping for days. Locals’ tip: Dan, the Sunday bartender, is quite the singer and session player – ask him for a ballad with your pint!
