There's still time to register for UVFood's restaurant gift certificate drawing.

To celebrate Vital Communities' local food festival Flavors of the Valley, held earlier this week, UVFood is giving away gift certificates to several local restaurants which work with farms to offer local food.

We are giving away five $20 certificates to Umpleby's Bakery & Cafe in Hanover, two $50 certificates to Canoe Club in Hanover and one $100 certificate to Home Hill Inn in Plainfield. And if you need to exercise after all that eating, we are also giving away to 2-week memberships at the River Valley Club.

The drawing is free. This is not a raffle. To enter, just make an account on uvfood.com and confirm your email address before noon on Monday April 26th (the deadline was Sunday at midnight but due to some technical glitches we are extending it slightly). If you would like to more chances to win, you'll also get an extra chance for each review you leave on the site before noon on Monday April 26th

We will not spam you. We will not sell or share your email address with anyone else. After you signup you will receive one piece of email asking you to click a link to confirm your address so that we know we had the right email address for you. Only users with confirmed addresses will be eligible to win. After that we will not email you again unless you win or opt to be notified about updates to your favorite restaurants by email. While of course I hope you'll use and enjoy the site, you're under no obligation to do anything else in order to be entered in the drawing.
