The Vermont Institute of Natural Science would like to thank Ledyard National Bank for including us in its wonderful Lend a Hand Day event. The seven participants that came to VINS for a wonderful sunny day of work accomplished so much in a short amount of time! The entire nature trail was raked and the garden was cut back in preparation for the winter. The team was then treated to a special up close visit with the raptors in the live bird program at the end of the day. Team projects such as these are a wonderful way for groups to help out local non profit organizations. We thank Ledyard National Bank for supporting these special community projects!
