Support Local Farms! Seasons Dinner February 9th!
We are incredibly pleased to be working with Vital Communities for this year's Seasons Dinner!
Supporting local farms and producers is something that I personally and we at Home Hill Inn believe very deeply in. As a Chef I am very lucky here at Home Hill Inn to have so many wonderful farms right on our road. I am spoiled to get fresh cream every Thursday from McNamara Dairy, beautiful fall raspberries from Riverview Farm and the amazingly gorgeous lettuce from Jan at Gypsy Meadow farm all about 5 minutes from my kitchen door.
A locally driven menu in New Hampshire in February proves how many wonderful local producers we have so close by. I am so happy to be able to include 28 of them in Tuesday's menu. I am also thrilled to be doing a cheese course. One of my favorite things ever is cheese and we have some of the best cheeses in the world in our area. Vermont gets a lot of attention with cheese and I wanted to shine a light on New Hampshire as well. We will be serving cheese from Boggy Meadow Farms, Heartsong farms and Landaff creamery.
The theme of our menu is international to showcase how local foods can be used in so many ways. I am also passionate about travel and love to recreate dishes from those travels in our "Taste the World" dinners series that we have be holding once a month since re-opening.
I have been busy cooking so I am a little late on this post. There are literally only a few seats left for Tuesday . Register online if you would like to join us!
