Upper Valley Housing Coalition has a new office
The Upper Valley Housing Coalition and Vital Communities declare their nine year partnership a success and establish plans for growth in independent areas.
“We are thrilled about the opening of our new Lebanon office and we look forward to increasing our advocacy efforts in the region to ensure that teachers, nurses and other working families have access to affordable housing,” said Anne Duncan Cooley, Executive Director of the Upper Valley Housing Coalition.
Prior to establishing their new office, the Upper Valley Housing Coalition was a partnership of Vital Communities.
“The successful collaboration between the Coalition and Vital Communities is an example of how shared values and mutual support can build capacity and achieve success,” said Greg Kennedy, Senior Vice President of Mascoma Savings Bank and Board Chair of the Upper Valley Housing Coalition.
“We will continue to partner with Vital Communities on various initiatives, but we’ve built up a terrific amount of organizational expertise over the years, have a very strong board, and now are eager to focus on being the regional advocate for safe, affordable homes for working families.”
